Tyddin Irias - Strawhouse
We have recently supplied our customers at Tyddin Irias with casement windows and stable doors. This is a very interesting project as the house has been made of straw. The one and a half storey strawbale home which was inspired by traditional Welsh longhouses, has walls which are made from stacked strawbales held together by rods. The house is also built on a foundation of tyres full of pea gravel. We look forward to see how the home will look and work once the buliding has been completed.
